everything about collon house was amazin! michael was super friendly and even sorted out tea when we arrived. the breakfast was hearty and there were good recs for things to do around collon. the room was warm, cozy and just like stepping back in time, really stylish. plus, there's a lovely restaurant just a short walk away!
it was a bit hard to find at first, and the entrance gate could use a bigger sign. also, the shower had some issues with hot and cold water.

I stayed in the Superior Double Room, and wow, the four-poster bed was super comfy! The quirky shower in a closet made it unique. The décor was a mix of beautiful antiques, which created a cozy atmosphere. Plus, breakfast served in such a beautiful dining room felt really special. Just a note, it was a bit tricky to figure out the blinds, but no biggie. It really felt like stepping back in time, very charming overall.

Collon House is a delightful immersion into a historical experience. The four-poster bedroom was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast served in the grand panelled dining room felt luxurious, like a scene from Downton Abbey. Michael and John are wonderful hosts, overflowing with local knowledge and charm. The tastefully restored Georgian decor and lovely gardens added an enchanting touch to our stay.
Could use better signage.

What a charming place! We were treated to tea and cake in a magnificent drawing room, and our room had a quirky shower in a closet. I felt like royalty with all the stunning antiques around me!
Now, the blinds were a bit of a puzzle—if only they came with a user manual! And, let’s be honest, finding the entrance felt like a scavenger hunt minus the treasure.

A Journey Back in Time
From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a magical, period-themed atmosphere. Michael greeted us with tea and treats in the stunning mustard drawing room, which set the perfect tone for our stay. Our four-poster bedroom was not only spacious but incredibly cozy, and breakfast in the beautifully adorned dining room was an experience worthy of royalty. Just a small note, It took a minute to figure out how to open the blinds, as they were down when we returned late!
